Recrystallization, 2022. Handmade egg tempera with soil and lake pigments on panel
Several of my paintings, reproduced in miniature, will be featured alongside works by Cindy Stockton Moore in the exhibition Grounded at miniMAC (Mount Airy Contemporary, 25 W. Mount Airy Avenue, Philadelphia, from January 16 – March 7, 2026. The works in the show examine the natural world, exploring geologic and ephemeral time scales, fragmentation of time and matter, and collapsing the distance between subject and artwork by incorporating foraged materials and soil as the media itself, so that the work is grounded in the earth and flora around us.
